FOREVER HEAR ELECTRIC SHEEP....

A NEW TERM BEGINS AND SO DO NEW CLASSES

January 6th, 2023

January sees the return of Adult education classes at York College and alongside these Dee will be expanding her PTVH role at York College with interim cover an AS and A2 Level Photography class.

RICCALL WOOD MEADOW

December 20th 2022

Dee Aitch Photography will be documenting the very first images of the new village Wood meadow in Riccall as part of their rewinding project. The images will form part of the village historical group archives and they will also be capturing drone footage allowing the team on the ground to survey their progress.

NATIONAL SATURDAY CLUB

October 8th 2022

As part of their new role as a PTVH tutor at York College, Dee will be taking on the National Saturday Club tutor and coordinator position for the next 30 weeks. They are looking forward to not only exploring art with this years cohort but incorporating digital photography into the program with some studio, macro photography, mixed media and cyanotype sessions planned.

ONCE MORE INTO THE FRAY

September 20th, 2022

Following successful completion of the BA (Hons) Photography Degree at York St.Johns, Dee will attend the same campus exploring their art through the lens further as they study towards an MFA Photography.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY FOR BEGINNERS

September 21st, 2022

Dee Aitch Photography will be teaching the latest course assisting students at York College in their new role as a part time tutor of Arts and Design. In this course they will assist students with exploration of how to get out of manual mode, what makes good composition, experiment in the studio, setting up shoots on a budget and learn editing skills to assist to enhance their photography futures.

BOARDMASTERS 2022

August 8th-14th, 2022

During Summer Dee Aitch Photography had the chance to visit Newquay, Cornwall and participate in some Surf Photography during the annual competition held on Fistral Beach.

DEGREE SHOW

June 1st 2022

Final Undergraduate project titled 'Erosion' will be exhibited as an interactive photographic piece. Holt has worked on an exploration of the Holderness Coastline through the lens. They have experimented photographically to use the camera as a metaphor for coastal erosion recording the moment as time is captured by its degradation in the landscape. The installation and exhibition process has been inspired by Vesna Pavlović's Projected Histories and Jean-Franc Lyotard's Les Immatériaux.

EXHIBTION AT YORK DISTRICT HOSPITAL

March 1, 2022

Following a successful submission to York Hospital Arts team Holt will be exhibiting their work within the corridors of the hospital for the month of March.
